How do I unlock Scapia airport privileges?

Does Scapia airport shopping work at all airports?

It works at participating retailers at major Indian airports. I have personally redeemed at Miniso (Bangalore), Bath & Body Works, and Starbucks at Delhi airport. Check the Scapia app for the live partner list before flying.

Is the spend threshold across all spend or only international?

In my experience the Rs 20,000 monthly threshold applies to total Scapia spending, including domestic and UPI transactions. Always confirm current terms in-app before relying on this.

Do the perks roll over if I do not use them?

No. The lounge, shopping, meal and spa allotments are monthly. If you do not use them in the eligible month, they expire.

Can I share airport privileges with family?

Lounge access is for the primary cardholder. Check Scapia's in-app rules for guest entry and add-on cardholders before assuming companion access.

Scapia Airport Privileges: Everything I Actually Redeemed in 2026

The most underrated thing about the Scapia Federal Credit Card isn’t the zero forex markup. It’s the airport privileges program — the unlock that triggers every time you spend ₹20,000 in a month.

If you travel even once a month, ₹20,000 is trivial to hit. The next month, your card hands you a stack of free perks at Indian airports. Here’s what I’ve actually redeemed.

How the unlock works

Two simple rules:

Spend ₹20,000 on Scapia in a calendar month (across cards, UPI, international — all of it counts).
The next month, you get all of the following at participating Indian airports:
- Unlimited domestic lounge access
- Free meals at partner airport restaurants
- ₹1,000 of free shopping at participating retail stores
- One free airport spa session

The list of partner outlets shows up live in the Scapia app. Before any flight, I check what’s available at my origin airport and plan accordingly.

What I have actually redeemed

These are not features I read about — these are receipts I have.

Free Miniso shopping at Bangalore airport

On a Bangalore-to-Delhi flight, I walked into the Miniso outlet at BLR, picked up a soft toy for my sister, and walked out without paying out of pocket. The Scapia voucher covered it.

This is one of those “wait, this is real?” moments. Miniso at airports is normally a place where you reconsider buying anything because of the markup. With Scapia’s ₹1,000 voucher, the markup doesn’t matter — it’s free.

Free Starbucks coffee at Delhi airport

Early-morning flight out of Delhi. I needed coffee. Walked into Starbucks at the airport, ordered a regular drink, and the cost went entirely on the Scapia airport-meal benefit.

Airport Starbucks is normally one of the most overpriced coffees of your life. With Scapia it cost me ₹0.

Free Bath & Body Works body wash (₹1,000)

Walked into Bath & Body Works at the airport, picked up a body wash priced at roughly ₹1,000, used the shopping voucher, walked out. The same product would have been a couple of hundred rupees cheaper outside the airport, but with the voucher it’s free either way.

What I haven’t redeemed yet

To be transparent:

Unlimited domestic lounge access — I haven’t used this yet. My next flights with longer layovers will be the time.
Free airport spa — also on my list, not yet redeemed.

Why this perk actually compounds

Most credit-card “airport benefits” are useless because the threshold to unlock them is too high or the perks are limited to specific airports. Scapia gets this right by:

Setting a realistic threshold — ₹20k/month is achievable for anyone using the card for everyday spend
Stacking multiple perks in the same unlock (not just lounge)
Including ₹1,000 shopping which is the perk most other cards skip entirely
Participating at major Indian airports I actually fly through (DEL, BLR, GOI)

If you’re already going to spend ₹20k on a card, doing it on Scapia is essentially a “buy ₹20k of stuff, get ~₹2,500-3,500 of airport perks back” arrangement — on top of the 2% Scapia Coin rewards on the same spend.

Some honest caveats

The partner list rotates. What’s available this month may not be next month. Check the app before flying so you don’t go hunting for an outlet that left the program.
Vouchers have minimum/maximum bounds. ₹1,000 shopping doesn’t mean you can split it into ten ₹100 redemptions across stores; it usually applies to a single transaction at a single outlet.
Spa availability is limited. Not every airport has a partner spa. The big metro airports are reliable; smaller ones, not always.
Customer support exists if redemption fails. I haven’t had to use it for airport benefits, but Scapia’s support has been responsive in my one previous interaction (when I lost my card and needed a replacement).

The simple monthly playbook

If you have the Scapia card and a trip coming up next month:

This month: route ~₹20k of spend through Scapia (including UPI bills, groceries, the works)
Next month: open the Scapia app a day before your flight
Check which partner outlets are live at your origin airport
Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier than usual to actually use them
Bring an empty bag — you’re walking out with stuff for free

For frequent travelers, the math on Scapia in 2026 keeps getting better the more I use it. Zero forex saves money abroad. Coin rewards pay for occasional swag. Airport privileges turn the boring pre-flight hour into a free shopping run.
